Fifty Shades of Warehousing

The New Roberson Wine Cellar

Since I started last August, there has been quite a transformation at our warehouse in Fulham. We have totally rearranged the layout and made a few snazzy changes to improve the way our wines are stored. Fine wine is now held in our newly renovated temperature-controlled showroom, which has a setting and mood that E.L. James can only dream of. Dark wood shelves and (gentle) spotlights display our large stock of original wooden cases, while individual bottles of some of the world’s greatest wines are kept in giant racks set back in alcoves, preserving one of the original features of the warehouse from before my time. This has all created an atmosphere where we don’t just pick our fine wines anymore, we caress them and gently place them in the cases.

Warehousing and logistics may not get as much attention as our fine wine tastings or the latest vintage report from Patagonia but, to ensure your wine reaches you in the best possible condition and on time, we take it very seriously.

Good work Charlie. The warehouse is looking like a new man since you arrived.

    Very good Charlie.
We have heard a few actors names mentioned for when they make a film of the book but,
if they made a film about your good work who would play Charlie Johnston?
