CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2010
MAYACAMAS VINEYARDS

Mayacamas's Cabernet Sauvignon is an absolutely stunning example of great Californian Cabernet. This is a worthy rival to any claret.

  • Incredibly pure, intense blackcurrant fruit flavour; cedar aromas; complex earthy character.
  • The vineyards range from 1,800 to 2,400 feet above sea-level.
  • The soils on Mount Veeder where the vines are planted are a mixture of ash, tufa and sedimentary soils.
  • A wine that will improve with at least five years ageing.
  • A big wine requires a big dish to stand up to it- try it with marinated lamb chops.
