“Deep purple-ruby. A developing nose of medium (+) intensity, with opening aromas of dark berry fruit and spice, then separating to black cherry, blackberry, a savoury note, and a floral note like musky red rose. A dry wine with smooth medium tannins, a medium (+) body, a medium (+) intensity, with an opening flavour of blackcurrant, then black cherry-like boiled sweets, and herbal nuances. The finish is long and clean. Needs decanting for an hour, a food wine.”
