Created to reflect the easy-going elegance of the California Coast, this is excellent on its own or paired with roast duck.
This Pinot Noir blend also includes 10% Sangiovese, 3% Tempranillo and 1% Syrah to add body and fruit. It was aged in French oak for 10 months and bottled under the innovative ‘Zork’ closure, which looks great and makes re-sealing the bottle very easy. Though it’s so tasty you probably won’t have to!

"One of the cheaper wines in London independent Roberson's critically acclaimed new selection of elegant Californians, this is a gorgeously drinkable lighter red, a fresh and fluent compote of softly plump strawberries and cherries and gentle tannin."
"...a very pleasant drink that is recognisably Pinot Noir (though far from burgundy) with just enough of that variety's sweet fruit without having the sickliness and syrupiness that spoil many inexpensive American Pinots. Monterey is famous for its cool climate - so cool that in the 1970s and 1980s it was famous for its underripe Cabernets. The light green streak in this Pinot Noir adds freshness and is well integrated."
“What a great wine and so nice to be complemented on the wine selection by friends. Full of fruity flavour, went well with chicken casserole. Just loved the fancy corks/stoppers but could not use them as the bottles all got drunk.”
“I received a bottle of 'The Other Guys' MooBuzz Pinot Noir as part of a Roberson wine club case. It's an attractive mid crimson colour, with lots of red fruits (ripe cherry) and vanilla on the nose. The taste is instantly pleasing, with crunchy red fruits (cherry and cranberry), some savoury background a couple of hours after opening and a good finish. So why not five stars? It's simply a bit sweet and not quite a Pinot Noir - looking carefully it has 10% Sangiovese, 3% Tempranillo and 1% Syrah blended in to add juicy darker fruit and colour and structure. So it's a very pleasant and approachable wine, but not one for the Pinot purists.”
