TASTING NOTES
The Rivus Gran Reserva Malbec is a full-bodied, powerful wine with blackberry fruit and a good dose of oak giving it a smooth mouthfeel.
PRODUCER NOTES
The Rivus wines come direct from one of the most southerly wine producers in Argentina (and therefore the world) located at 39.2 degrees south in the beautiful, wild region of Patagonia. Called 'Rivus' because of the ancient riverbed that winds through the vineyard, all the wines are aged in French oak barrels for added complexity and the results are beguiling examples of what happens when the best of modern technology is applied to grapes from the wild edge of the winemaking world.
