For such an iconic winery, it is hard to believe that the first vintage was 1997. Since then, winemaker Blake Walter has improved the wine in nearly every vintage. Although Felton Road are most revered for their Pinot Noir that manages to contain more complex flavour then almost any other in the region. They now have an excellent reputation for their Rieslings and Chardonnays. Recently Felton Road have released a miniscule amount of single vineyard Pinots of phenomenal intensity, ‘Blocks’ 3 and 5.
