PRODUCER NOTES
Located in Bommes, this château was known, in the nineteenth century, to be the second best Sauternes, just after the famous Y'Quem. In fact, it enjoys a unique geographical position. It takes its name from the Noble Etienne de Vigneau, who owned the vineyard in the seventeenth century. It is now composed of 80 hectares planted with Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 18 to 24 months. Wonderful stuff.
