Trimbach are arguably the greatest name in Alsace. They certainly produce two of its greatest wines: the legendary Clos Ste-Hune and the dazzling Cuvée Frédéric Emile – both of which demand long ageing before they express their extraordinary complexity. But even Trimbach’s lesser wines are imbued with a touch of class and a distinctive character – dry, full-bodied, rich, and great value.
