PRODUCER NOTES
The heart on the label is testimony of the affection that this estate was held in by its original owner, the Marquis de Segur, who also owned Mouton in the late 19th century. A chateau with a great pedigree and much loved in Britain, the wines of the past could be a little irregular, particular given its superb terroir. Today, it is a different story, and under the leadership of Madame Gastueton, it is back to its best and can be considered good value in today's era of inflated Bordeaux prices.
