"Rich and suave with a smoky, concentrated nose. Black fruit with a touch of balsamic vinegar. Sweet and ripe but with fairly dry tannins which gives it a quite dark and sombre character. Brooding, with hints of greatness" Decanter Magazine - October 2011.
PRODUCER NOTES
Château Boutisse is situated on the St-Emilion plateau, and is complete with its own cooperage. Both the first and second wines are straightforward Bordeaux at an excellent price, full of strawberry fruit and made to be drunk while young and fresh.
