PRODUCER NOTES
To produce this wine, Patrick Baseden called on two great oenologists, Aurelio Montes (responsible for one of Chile’s leading wines, Alpha de Montes) and Stéphane Derenoncourt. According to its authors Sanctus embodies “the search for perfection combining Bordeaux tradition and New World innovation”. The 1999 offering has a good balance of fruit and body. It is not too overpowering, which makes it easy to drink today, all the more so because of its roundedness and very tasty fruit.
