PRODUCER NOTES

Although a domaine that makes excellent red wines, Jean-François Coche is known chiefly for his white wines, which are right up there with the very best in the world.

Based in Meursault, the majority of the 9 hectares of Coche-Dury holdings are in this famous village and it is these wines that their reputation is based on, although they are also famed for their spectacular Corton-Charlemagne. In addition to various village reds, they also make a Volnay 1er Cru from small parcels in Taillepieds and Clos des Chênes (although the parcels are only bottled separately in vintages where the yields are sufficient).
