Pol Roger are consistently one of our favourite Champagne houses for their classic medium-bodied, complex and very drinkable style right across the range. They claim to age their Champagne slightly longer to suit the British market, who traditionally prefer more mature wines than the French.
Whatever they're doing, it seems to work - just ask Winston Churchill (well, alright, you can't, but it was his favourite brand).
