Didier Dagueneau was (until his sad, premature death in a microlite accident in 2008) one of the most spectacularly unconventional and innovative winemakers in the world. His range of Pouilly-Fumés are unique. They all have an extraordinary depth of flavour and a very soft, textured mouthfeel. Unlike most Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre, they benefit from ageing.
