PRODUCER NOTES
Michel Ogier remains a great source of Cote Rotie, still well priced for the level of quality he offers. Aided by his young son, Stephane, his Cote Rotie and prestige cuvee, Belle Helene (125 cases) are prodigious examples of the terroir based around Cote Rozier (next to La Landonne). The Belle Helene spends around 18 months in 100% new oak where the straight Cote Rotie spends about the same time in 30% new oak. Both are bottled unfiltered.
