Guigal is a powerhouse of the Northern Rhone, at the top level with his three single vineyard Cote Roties, La Landonne, La Turque and La Mouline, respectively powerful, aromatic and precocious, and at the entry level with his unimpeachable Cotes du Rhone. Responsible in a large part with pushing the wines of Cote Rotie into the same league as the First Growths and the wines of the Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Marcel continues to innovate, introducing a new wine, the ex-voto Hermitage alongside the creation of more single vineyard wines from the old holdings of the recently purchased Vidal Fleury holdings.
