PRODUCER NOTES

Making an astonishing range of wines from the lowly appellations of the Cotes du Ventoux, to the exalted single vineyard sites of L’Ermite, La Mordoree, the quality of Chapoutiers wines is consistently outstanding. The rather theatrical Michel Chapoutier is a big personality, with outspoken views on just about everything continues to invest massively in the vineyard and the winery to ensure the quality of the grapes throughout the winemaking process. His white wines from the Northern Rhone are particularly note-worthy, amongst the most dense, complex and ageworthy as any in France.
