WINE SCHOOL IN A BOX COMPLETE TASTING SET

Wine School Tasting in a Box is for those people who cannot make it to one of our Wine School evenings in Kensington but who would still like to learn about wine at home. It is designed to inform without being pretentious and be entertaining without talking down. No specialist knowledge is assumed or required, all you need is to enjoy drinking wine and be interested in learning more.

The case includes twelve bottles of excellent wine specifically chosen to illustrate different points. You taste the wines in a specific order, guided by the included booklet which covers all the same ground featured in our Wine School classes.

Working through the course you will:

• Learn how to taste wine.
• Learn what wine is and how different grape varieties affect the flavour.
• Learn where wine comes from and how this changes its taste.
• Learn who makes wine and how their decisions affect it.
• Learn when wine is ready to drink and how different vintages and ages change it.
• Test your palate by trying an outstanding bottle of wine blind.

The case comes complete with a comprehensive illustrated booklet guiding you through the wines, a tasting book for your notes, slow pourers for serving and preserving the wines, a Roberson Wine corkscrew, a vintage chart and a blind tasting bottle bag for the final wine.

The course is designed to be very flexible in terms of the number of people taking part. An individual could work through the whole course over several months, tasting one or two wines every so often, a group of up to fifteen people could get together and complete the whole course in a single evening, or any number of people in between could organise themselves however they like.
