PRODUCER NOTES
Michele Chiarlo has been described by Hugh Johnson as 'excellent'. In the cellar a technical staff co-ordinated by the oenologists Stefano Chiarlo and Gianni Meleni, handles all the operations from the vinification right up to the bottling. Their main aim is to ensure that the wine keeps its special characteristics bestowed by the grapes from the individual terroirs of the exclusive vineyards. All their “long-life” red wines undergo adequate and long refinement in the bottle, away from the light, at a constant, cool temperature so that they may slowly develop heady fragrances and their flavours may deliciously blend together.
