Muscadet is one of the greatest wines in the world. At it’s best, it delivers minerality, fruit, length and balance, all at a very reasonable price. And this is not just any old bog-standard Muscadet, it is the top wine from one of the top estates in the Loire valley, who make it from vines over 50 years old. Not just the perfect foil to seafood, this deserves to be seen as a fine wine in its own right.

PRODUCER NOTES

A lordly domaine, unusual in Muscadet, with a stately neoclassical masnsion, the family of the Comte de Malestroit has owned it since 1740. The estate produces a full bodied Muscadet from low yields.
With amazing soils and very old vines, the wines from Noë frequently win many awards in France.
