Superbly situated, Roger Sabon has been one of the finest traditional sources of Chateauneuf for decades, little oak is used and the wines are neither fined or filtrated. The Châteauneuf vineyards are well situated in Les Cabrieres, La Crau, Courtherzon and Nalys.
One of the reasons for the quality of the wines can be traced to the ample proportion of old-vines Roger has inherited, many dating back to the 1900's which imbues the predominantly Grenache cuvee's with abundant stuffing and intensity. The wine ages exceedingly well.
