Warre is the oldest of the British port houses, dating back to 1670. Its style is distinctive – very fresh and fruity with a long, firm finish. The vintage ports have a massive and enthusiastic following for their approachable style and their ability to age and improve with the best of them, but the tawnies, LBVs and others all share the same marks of quality and are thoroughly good value. Not for nothing is Warre one of the best-loved port houses.
