A Rioja house that holds a special place in many a drinkers diseased heart, Muga have been quietly crafting some of the finest wines from the region since the early 1930’s. Based in Haro by the old railway station, Muga claim to be the only producer to use American oak exclusively through fermentation and ageing. At the top level are two wines of different character, Torre Muga, a new prestige cuvee of power and depth and Prado Enea, a more classic expression of the Muga style, fragrant and rich. All the wines here are excellent.
