Elegant and toasty, the R de Ruinart Brut N.V. is a classy, complex Champagne from a great house, drinking beautifully now and capable of improving with careful cellaring for up to five years.

PRODUCER NOTES

Ruinart is the oldest producer of Champagne and makes one of the best non-vintage blends, a stunning Blanc de Blancs, one of the best Rosés, and a range of prestige cuvées in Dom Ruinart which are second to none, and yet it still manages to retain a low profile with nothing like the reputation of its lesser rivals.

The wine leans more towards the French-preferred aperitif style of Champagne, with Chardonnay dominating. The whole range is of outstanding quality, and the Dom Ruinart is capable of ageing magnificently.
