PRODUCER NOTES
This Château has remained in the powerful family De Seze for many generations until the 1855 classification which gave it the sought-after distinction of Third Grand Cru Classé. The vineyard had almost disappeared in the 1950's, when it was totally replanted and equipped with a estate-of-art winery. Through many changes, this wine has retained its spiciness, sweetness and fleshiness.
Over recent years, it has become even more refined and it is considered to some a Second Cru Classé.
