PRODUCER NOTES
Producer of some of the world’s most expensive, rare and highly prized wines – the Domaine de la Romaneé-Conti is Burgundy’s most iconic producer. All of the wines they bottle at the estate are usually from their prestigious Grands Cru sites, although in top vintages they have been known to bottle a 1er Cru wine labelled as Cuveé Duvault-Blochet.
Among the Grands Cru vines that they own are the entirety (know as a ‘monopole’) of the La Tâche and Romaneé-Conti vineyards – arguably Burgundy’s finest for red wines. They also own a small plot of vines in Le Montrachet, from which they produce a miniscule amount of white wine.
