BAROLO 2006, GIACOMO FENOCCHIO

PRODUCER NOTES

The Fenocchio estate was founded in 1864. It has been producing wines over five generations, with its twelve hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Barolo production zone. The wines have not changed over time: the style is a classic one, without substantial variations or a desire to impress with new techniques, faithful to traditions, they do not believe in making it more crowd-pleasing if that should mean a gradual loss of identity. Only the equipment for making the wines has changed. But fermentation, in any case, still lasts thirty days.
