TASTING NOTES

Made up of 60% Syrah and 30% each of Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, this full-bodied red tastes of dark fruits, spice and a subtle herbaceous character.

PRODUCER NOTES

The wine here was made by Jesuits between 1857 and 1973, but recently they have taken to employing a professional winemaker from Prieuré-Lichine in Margaux. As a result, quality is improving all the time.
