Biondi Santi have a legendary reputation, explained from their history at the heart of Brunello, and their discovery of the particular clone of Sangiovese, named after the family, that producers the regions distinctive wines. The Biondi Santi story goes back a long way and they are keen to emphasise the continuity of the style of the wines, still matured in large oak foudres and bottled later rest of the region. The reputation and longevity of these wines is legendary and whilst some are more comfortable with the more modern style the region has moved towards, these are unique wines that can impress like no others when they are on song.
