TASTING NOTES

A modern style of Rioja, the Paisajes V is a blend of 40% Tempranillo, 40% Garnacha, 10% Graciano, and 10% Mazuelo sourced from a single 1.3-hectare parcel. The nose and palate reveal cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant fruit as well as hints of spice, leather and tar.

PRODUCER NOTES

Made from grapes from old vines aged more than 85 years, Ceci Aguilar Estate is located in the southernmost part of the Rioja, on loam soil and the remains of slate, he makes smooth and well structured wines.
The palate has a good balance between fruit and acidity, medium body and fresh red fruit.
Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
