TASTING NOTES
Fantastic value from this excellent producer, this blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon is robust and fruity with plenty of delicious dark fruit and a well-balanced palate.
PRODUCER NOTES
Abadia Retuerta are almost single handedly pushing the Sardon-del-Duero appellation to international fame. The estate occupies over 700 hectares of terrain, and its name comes from the combination of two words that define and describe the territory: Rívula (river bank) and Torta (twisting, winding). The wines here have more of a similarity to the Ribera then Rioja, with body, structure and a more sensitive use of oak.
