Pétrus owner Christian Mouiex had searched for a long time to find the perfect vineyard to make the perfect Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. He found it when he brought a tenderloin section of the legendary Inglenook vineyard deep in the Rutherford Bench. Around 8,000 cases of wine are produced every with a second wine Napanook.
