TASTING NOTES
A great Pinot Noir from one of California's masters of the variety, this successfully combines the sweetness normally found in California with a nod to the more subtle elegance of good Burgundy.
PRODUCER NOTES
A man of many talents, Jim Clenderden of Au Bon Climat seems able to concoct gourmet food, philosophical insight, criticism of Robert Parker and some of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay outside of the Cote de Nuits (and have time to grow a rather attractive beard!) What a man. His wines are very much in the French tradition and develop fine secondary flavours with age.
