TASTING NOTES

"Dreissigacker ticked every box we look for in modern wine making, and when myself and Marc Ditcham (fellow Wine Advisor extraordinaire) tasted the Estate Riesling we immediately set about getting this wine into the shop. Organic farming, and natural yeast fermentation provides purity and style to this wine. Yields are kept low, even for there estate wines they keep it at 40 hl/ha. (Commercial vineyards will average around 60-80 hl/ha for there estate wines in Germany). Light in colour with green tinges. The wine carries an elegant nose of blossom, ripe fruits and lemon grass. The palate is elegant, very well-balanced, and full of yellow citrus fruit character's before a long finish." - Jack Green, wine advisor.
