"Those of you who tasted his top cuvee 'Virgile Blanc' will know what Virgile Joly is capable of. He is one of the rising stars of the 'Terrasses du Larzac' and his Saturnes Blanc is absolutely beautiful. Made of 100% Grenache blanc grown organically around the town of St Saturnin between 100 and 400m high, it spends eight months in cuves after fermentation. The nose is just gorgeous with peaches, acacia and something quite grassy and nutty around the edges. The palate is full and silky with a brisk acidity that brings everything to life on a long finish full of minerality. Great stuff!" - Jean-Remi Barris, assistant shop manager.
