PRODUCER NOTES
Vergelegen dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and is one of the most beautiful properties of the Cape. It is fitting, then, that the wine is of fantastic quality. The whites are the most famous wines of Vergelegen, with the Chardonnay (especially the reserve) possessing all the qualities of a top white Burgundy. The reds are equally good, however, with a lot of richness and complexity.
