PRODUCER NOTES

The Cartoixa Domini (or Clos Galena) is a dream come true for Miguel Perez Cerrada, a passionate college professor who decided one day to settle in Priorat in order to produce unique wines. Clos Galena refers to the Carthusian monks of Scaladei, precursors of viticulture in the region and was taken from the history of Priorat.
Because of the excellent work of the winemaker Toni Coca, and the exceptional terroir in which is planted Grenache, Carignan, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet in the town of El Molar, on the edge of Montsant, it is produced incredibly interesting, supple and concentrated wine.
