A winery located at the heart of the Ribera del Duero, in the Horra, resembling a Château, which has its origin in the dream of Sastre Severiano , who believed that wines should show quality respecting land, tradition and culture. In 1992, Rafael, his son, with the support of his two children, Pedro and Jesus fulfilled the dream of creating a winery in his hometown and since then Viña Sastre has become one of the best wineries in Spain. Today, with the unfortunate and unexpected loss of Pedro in a car accident, Jesus Sastre is in charge of continuing the hard and passionate work in Viña Sastre.
Forty-five hectares of vineyards with vines aged more than 50 years old at the heart of the Bank, primarily from the Tempranillo but also Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, making elegant, complex and aromatic wines.
