Veuve Clicquot's non-vintage blend is among the best on the market. More full-bodied than most, with a delicious toasty complexity, this is a very good and consistent blend.

PRODUCER NOTES

Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin is the full name, although most people now know it as ‘Veuve’ or even just by its distinctive orange label. It’s a large and highly regarded house, making quantities of wine that lean towards the more full-bodied end of the Champagne spectrum. It’s Brut NV is consistently reliable, and the Grande Dame is one of the top prestige cuvées – beautifully balanced, full-bodied and yet with great finesse.
