Laurent-Perrier's most famous contribution to the wine world is this exceptional rosé. Elegant, perfectly balanced and with an admirably subtle strawberry flavour, this remains the benchmark by which other rosé Champagnes are judged.

PRODUCER NOTES

Laurent-Perrier favour the French or apéritif style of Champagne – lightness, elegance, simplicity – over the more full-bodied character traditionally prized in this country. By far the best wines are the Grand Siècle prestige cuvées, which are complex and long-lived. The Brut NV is a consistent performer though very much at the lighter end of the Champagne spectrum, while the iconic rosé which graced many a 1980s dinner party always seems to go down a treat.
