'Pinot Noir-dominated blend with a dosage of 7 g/l from a Mareuil grower who has been bottling his own wine for more than 60 years.
Very Pinot perfumed and really quite rich and luscious then a dry finish. A good find, this, for those looking for the other side of the coin from a Blanc de Blancs. Quite big and bold ... Good value.'

PRODUCER NOTES
James and Fabrice Pouillon believe in sustainable agriculture to care for their vineyards. They favour the use of certified organic products and since 2003, Fabrice has begun to experiment with biodynamic methods on a few selected parcels of wine.
A portion of the wines ferment with natural yeasts, and the entire family is involved in the crucial step of the final blending in order to respect the style of the domain.
