PRODUCER NOTES

Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne – that’s wine house, as opposed to producer of sparkling wine, that honour belongs to Ruinart – founded in 1584. Though less well known than other Grande Marques, in terms of quality the whole Gosset range is outstanding. The Brut Excellence is a lighter, aperitif-style Champagne, but the range really gets going with the Grande Réserve and the Grande Rosé, both of which are deep-flavoured and delicious. As you might expect, the vintage wines are wonderful and age extremely well.
