PRODUCER NOTES

Laville-Haut-Brion is in fact the white wine of La Mission-Haut-Brion and is Bordeaux’s greatest dry white. Made up of 70% Semillon, 27% Sauvignon Blanc and 3% Muscadelle grown (since 1928) on a patch of land where the soil is considered too heavy for red, this is fermented and aged in new oak barriques. This is a wine that really needs time in bottle to show its true class, with great vintages becoming over the years increasingly, complex, harmonious and beautiful.
