PRODUCER NOTES
The Gagnard family is something of a fixture in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, and in true Burgundian style there are numerous arms of the family all making wines under their own labels from their own domaines.
Caroline l’Estimé is the only child of Jean-Noël Gagnard, and has been in charge of the domaine since her father retired in 1989. She has cousins down the road at Fontaine-Gagnard and Blain-Gagnard and between them they make some of the best wines of the Côte-de-Beaune.
