TASTING NOTES
Domaine Rieflé continue to make some of the best-value wines in Alsace, itself France's best-value and most underrated wine region. Their Pinot Blanc is off-dry, with a complex nutty character and great freshness.
PRODUCER NOTES
Domaine Rieflé is a relatively new entity (having been set up in 1966) but winemaking in the Rieflé family goes back a lot further than that, to the early eighteenth century. The wines are classic Alsace – expressive of their grape varieties, full of flavour, well-structured, (mostly) dry and stunningly good value. From the lowliest Pinot Blanc to the Grand Cru Riesling, these are undervalued and delicious.
