DESCRIPTION
'This wine from Sancerre is so full and ripe that it's almost unrecognisable as a French Sauvignon Blanc, but it's a good-value blackcurrant-leaf flavoured drink.'
Jancis Robinson MW
Financial Times, 23/06/2012
Sancerre, Sancerre, Sancerre. It’s all some people go on about. And, great wine though it is, it’s not cheap and there are some shockers out there. So, what does the wise punter do? Look for wines like this - a beautiful, crisp, unoaked Sauvignon Blanc from a producer who is based in the lovely town of Cher and is well-known for his expertise with this fickle grape. Great value.
