TASTING NOTES
Showing exactly why Marlborough has become renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is typical of the region, with an incredibly powerful, pungent nose and a very intense flavour of tropical fruit and asparagus.
PRODUCER NOTES
Boreham Wood is a small, family owned and run vineyard situated in Marlborough's Awatere Valley - a beautiful, picturesque spot at the top of New Zealand's South Island.
The vineyard was first established in 1998 by Peter and Jane Clark with the planting of 20 acres of Sauvignon Blanc. In 2006, their son, Simon, managed the planting of a further 6 acres of Sauvignon Blanc in addition to 5 acres of Pinot Gris and 2 acres of Riesling.
Boreham Wood takes its name from the town in Hertfordshire, England where both Peter and Jane come from.
