DESCRIPTION
'Jochen Dreissigacker farms his 21 ha of family owned vineyards organically and has a relaxed approach in the cellar. Aromas of peaches, apricots and stone fruit with an off-dry, creamy and round palate.'

'Dreissigacker ticked every box we look for in modern wine making, and when myself and Marc Ditcham (fellow Wine Advisor extraordinaire) tasted the Estate Riesling we immediately set about getting this wine into the shop. Organic farming and natural yeast fermentation provide purity and style for this wine. Yields are kept low, even for the estate wines no more than 40 hl/ha (commercial vineyards will average around 60-80 hl/ha for their estate wines in Germany). Light in colour with green tinges. The wine carries an elegant nose of blossom, ripe fruits and lemon grass. The palate is elegant, very well-balanced, and full of yellow citrus fruit character before a long finish.'
