TASTING NOTES

South Africa seems to be situated perfectly to produce wines that fall somewhere in between the sometimes brash offerings of the other southern hemisphere wine producers and the more reserved, austere French style. This is a great example of 'third way' Sauvignon Blanc, having plenty of flavour and yet remaining elegant and refreshing.

PRODUCER NOTES

Neil Ellis has been growing, making wine and buying grapes since almost 1988 and is well set up as one of the leading white-wine producers in Stellenbosch. He sources wines from different micro-climates to produce a range of wines, each with a separate identity.
