SANTA BARBARA COUNTY CHARDONNAY 2010, AU BON CLIMAT

TASTING NOTES
A fantastically well-made Chardonnay in a style influenced by Burgundy but true to the Californian climate. Very well balanced and capable of ageing and improving for a few years yet.
PRODUCER NOTES
A man of many talents, Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat seems able to concoct gourmet food, philosophical insight, criticism of Robert Parker and some of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay outside of the Cote de Nuits (and have time to grow a rather attractive beard!) What a man. His wines are very much in the French tradition and develop fine secondary flavours with age.
